Sharing a form
Publishing, links and QR codes, one link per channel, expiry and pausing, members-only forms, and bot protection.
A form is unpublished when you create it: you can build and preview, but the public link shows "not available". Click Publish in the top bar when it's ready. Unpublishing later closes every link at once without deleting anything.
The Share dialog
Share opens the link, a QR code you can download as a PNG, and the link's settings:
- Pause link — stop accepting responses temporarily, without unpublishing.
- Expire link — pick a date and time after which the link stops working. Good for application deadlines.
- Members only — respondents must be signed in to your workspace. Use it for internal forms (leave requests, equipment, feedback).
- Bot protection — every form is protected against bots. Paid plans can turn the check off per form when it gets in the way (some embeds, internal forms).
One link per channel
Click New link and name it — Instagram bio, Job board, Flyer QR. Each named link has its own URL, QR code, pause and expiry, and is tracked on its own. That's how you learn the flyer brought 40 applicants and the job board 3.
Responses show which link they came through, the inbox can filter by link, and Analytics compares views, responses and conversion per link.
Embedding on a website
Use the link in an <iframe> on any site. The form is its own page with its
own theme, so it looks the same embedded or opened directly.
Kurdish and English
The public page follows the language in the link: a link copied while using Kokar in Kurdish opens right-to-left in Kurdish; copied in English, it opens in English. Copy the link in the language your respondents read.
Frequently asked questions
My link says the form isn't available. Why?
The form is unpublished, the link is paused or has expired, or the form has been deleted. Publish it (or resume the link) and the same URL works again — nothing needs re-sharing.
Can I change the link without deleting the form?
Yes. Regenerate the default link from the Share dialog. Every copy of the old URL — bookmarks, printed QR codes — stops working immediately; the form and its responses are untouched.
Why make more than one link?
To see where responses come from. Each named link is counted separately — views, responses and conversion rate per link appear in the inbox and in Analytics.
Do I need to add UTM parameters myself?
No. A named link is already tracked. Add UTM parameters only if you also want them in your own analytics tools; Kokar reads them too.
