How billing works

What Kokar charges for, how seats are counted, and why nothing is ever charged to you automatically.

Kokar bills per seat, per month. A seat is one person you have invited to the workspace and who has accepted.

What each plan includes β€” the features, and the limits on spaces, projects and folders β€” is set out on the pricing page.

Nothing is charged automatically

Kokar does not store your card and does not renew anything on its own. There is no automatic charge at the end of a period, and no failed-payment retries, because there is nothing on file to retry.

Instead, the workspace owner renews by going through checkout again before the period ends. Kokar reminds you first, and gives you a grace period after β€” see When a plan expires.

Owner only

Buying, renewing and changing a plan are all restricted to the workspace owner. Admins can open the billing page and see the plan, but cannot move the workspace between tiers.

Currency

Plans are quoted in US dollars β€” that is what the pricing page and the plan picker show. Payment is taken in Iraqi dinar, and the dinar amount is what appears on your receipt.

What happens when you change plan

Upgrades apply immediately, the moment payment succeeds.

Downgrades also apply immediately β€” and the time you had already paid for on the higher plan is not carried over or refunded. Kokar warns you before confirming. The full picture is in Change your plan.

Either direction, nothing you have created is ever deleted. Content above a lower plan's limits stays in the workspace and stays readable; you simply cannot create more in that category until you are back under the limit.

Free plan

Free is a real plan, not a trial. It does not expire, and it never asks for payment. It caps the workspace structure β€” 5 spaces, 20 projects per space, 10 folders per space β€” and leaves out the paid features such as MCP connections, Time & Attendance, calls, and the audit log.
